The New Summer Berry Refresher

The New Summer Berry Refresher

A sweet & refreshing herbal berry tea with a twist.

Hello sunshine! It's finally Spring and it's time for fresh air & ice teas, in this case an ice tea with a twist!

Such a great beverage for a beautiful sunny day . Thank you! –Rachel

Warm weather is my favorite and there's hardly any better way to enjoy it than with an ice tea in hand. My little boys are running around the house playing while fresh air and sunshine is filling our home from the open windows. While the boys sing lullaby, well shout them really, I'm in my herb room testing new ways to enjoy tea! And this recipe here is what I stumbled upon. It's simple, easy, healthy and DELICIOUS!

Summer Berry Refresher

  • Glass cup

  • Kettle or pot to boil water
  • A steeper, strainer or filtered tea bag
  • Summer Berry Tea Blend (Bourne Again)
  • 1/4 Milk of your choice
  • 1/2 tsp Blackberry Syrup (I used Monin)
  • Ice

  1. Pour water into the kettle and bring to a boil.
  2. place 1 TPBS of Summer Berry into a steeper (if you don't have one, don't worry! You can grab a strainer of any kind)
  3. Once water is at a boil turn off the stove.
  4. Pour boiling water over the tea. (Whether it's a steeper, filtered bag or loose leaf)
  5. Let this steep for 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes then remove the steeper or strain the tea leaves out.
  7. Fill your glass up with ice and then pour 1/4 cup of milk onto your iced tea.
  8. And lastly to sweeten it up, add 1/2 tsp of your blackberry syrup!

Enjoy! I hope you love this herbal tea beverage as much as I do. Be sure to leave a comment if you try it out, I'd love to hear what you think!
