Using homemade skin care products can have several benefits. Firstly, they often contain natural and organic ingredients, which can be gentler on the skin and less likely to cause irritation. Secondly, making your own products allows you to tailor them to your specific needs and preferences, ensuring that you're using ingredients that work best for you. Lastly, DIY beauty products are often more budget-friendly compared to store-bought ones, saving you money in the long run.
Tincture
A Tincture is a concentrated alcohol extraction of an herb. When in liquid form the plant chemicals are immediately absorbed into the blood stream.
Tinctures can be taken anytime of day. Take between 10-30 drops up to three times a day under your tongue or mixed with a drink of choice.
One dropperful is equivalent to 1/60 of an oz alcohol, a very small amount. If you’d like to remove the alcohol you can add it to boiling water or an herbal tea and let it steep a few minutes to remove the alcohol.
What is it?
A "Blind Date with a Book" is picking a wrapped book without knowing its title or author. It's an element of surprise that adds an extra layer of excitement and intrigue, as readers are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones (if they choose) and explore new genres and authors they may not have encountered otherwise. It's a wonderful way to foster a sense of adventure and discovery in the world of literature.
